Alberta Ferretti

Alberta Ferretti was born in Gradara and spent her childhood in her mother's tailor shop in Cattolica. At 18, she opened her own clothing store, Jolly Shop, where, in addition to various brands, she also sold garments she had designed and made herself. In 1974, noticing the growing interest in her creations, Alberta Ferretti realized it was time to produce a collection under her own name. In 1980, she founded the company Aeffe S.p.A. with her brother Massimo, and the following year she made her official debut on the Milan runways, achieving immediate success with her romantic and feminine style. The lightness of chiffon, the richness of embroidery and lace, the femininity of the slip dress, and refined, sensual silhouettes are the hallmarks of her collections.
